10 THINGS A THICK GIRL CAN DO DAILY TO STAY HEALTHY

There are actually MORE than 10 things, but we will stick to the basics as far as what you can do is a thick girl to stay healthy! First and foremost it's important that you always eat breakfast! Even if you aren't a breakfast kind of girl, this is a great way to jump start your metabolism, plus as we were told when we were younger, this is the most important part of your day! This is also an easy way to lower your cholesterol if you are having problems with that! Second off, you need to consider how much water you are drinking during the day! A normal person should have about 8 8oz glasses of water a day. Not only is this going to fill you up and make you feel full, but it is also great for hydrating your body and cleansing it. For those of you that are thinking about the amount of bathroom breaks you are going to have to take while drinking THIS much water - I have to say don't worry! Once your body gets used to it, you won't need to take as many breaks! Thirdly, it's important that you take a quality multi vitamin and mineral. These two things can help you stay healthy, but deterring things like coronary artery disease, diabetes, osteoporosis, prostate cancer and colorectal cancer. Fourth off, you should always make sure you connect with other people. Humans are social animals by nature, so if you feel you are having a problem with something such as your weight, or you need help figuring out what foods to eat or recipes - join a community with like minded people such as yourself! Fifth off, make sure you ARE expressing your emotions and situations properly. A lot of people over eat because they are depressed or stressed or even bored. If you are having problems with work or home - talk to someone! You can pick a friend, you can join up with a forum, you can even talk to your doctor. Next, you should be eating fruits and veggies! I know a lot of people that hate veggies, but if you at least stick with your greens you will be taking a big step toward being healthy! Try to stay away from fruits that are overly sugary like bananas and apples - instead try grapes and strawberries. Blueberries are fantastic too! Seventh - make sure you spend at least 30 minutes outdoors, this is a great activity to do with your friends, your kids or your grand kids. Chances are you won't even realize what healthy things you are doing for your body because you will be having so much fun! Eighth, do something active, this is especially important if you have a desk job! Even playing with your children counts. Or you could park a little farther away from the grocery store, walk your dog once a day, walk around the corner, time yourself and try to beat the clock when it comes to household chores. Make it fun! Ninth, be sure to take some time for yourself. This is a stressful kind of life we live in. Horns honking and bosses yelling and customers complaining and kids and husbands and bills AHHH! Take some time for yourself to relax and destress, you could also take up yoga or meditating as well. Lastly, and most importantly, make sure you sleep well! Not only is it important that you sleep for 6-8 hours, but it's important that you keep a schedule going with the same hours!
